Summer will soon be here so it's time to SAMBA!

Featuring the biggest collection of samba percussionists that Sydney has ever seen, this is one party that is guaranteed to raise the roof!

Sydney's own Encontro do Samba is a celebration of all things samba. A night for drummers, dancers and samba lovers alike to unite and make this city swing like the streets of Rio.

If you are new to samba, then come along and enjoy the party, meet some new (or old) friends, and perhaps join a band or feed your passion for dance?

Our aim to build the samba community, make new friends and share our performances, have a great time and raise money for important conservation work. Most of all, we want our town to have a night dedicated purely to samba without being exclusive to any particular group. A night where we can all come together to enjoy each others company and performances.
